In Lima we ended up staying at Condor´s House Hostal, which is really homey and lovely, and where I don´t think we actually went downstairs once without making something in the kitchen. It was commented on by the other guests in fact. Anyway, our days in Lima proved very unproductive and uncultural, mostly eating and buying clothes we cannot carry at topitop, or listening to bad music in surprisingly popular nightclubs. Our one effort to be cultural was to go to the British Cultural Centre (remembering the fun we had in Phnom Penh....!) and buying cheapo tickets to see "Respira", a play that did indeed turn out to be entirely in Spanish, but which was apparently very funny. Although that said, even I could appreciate the hilarious Jesus in it. Less the pedophile priest. Ah, culutral times.
We tried to make a brownie in a frying pan too.
