We're now over halfway into our year away and it has been amazing in the true sense of the word, the highlights are innumerable and so many experiences unforgettable. From the incredible bustle of everyday life in Mumbai to the serenely peaceful Himalayas; a humbling encounter with the Dalai Lama to the everyday haggle for a taxi and a meal; zipping around the Vietnamese highlands on the back of a motorbike to clomping along on the back of an elephant in deepest darkest Laos. How fabulous! I cannot wait for the Latino hospitality and long-haul flights. Anna and Matt, you must teach me the essential Spanish....not what you learn in the books, but what you really need to know...ie.
