Well, we are on our way back home. Today is our fourth day at sea and day ten of our cruise. Just as a note, we are not in Grand Turk, just passing by, sorta-kinda. I had to put in a location to create this part of my blog.
Anywho, we or should I say, "I" planned a relaxing, do nothing sort of day. We slept in a bit late.
We checked the TV to view our tabs for the ship, while I pulled the curlers from my hair.
We both kinda went over today's line-up from the Cruise Compass, to decide on some activities to attend. I figured I'd skip the "Look 10 years younger with Dr. Ana Rueda" session in the Spa and head up to get something to eat. LOL.
It was late, so we headed up to the Windjammer and had a nice meal.
Around 2:30 we decided to head down to the Scooner Bar, for "Battle of the Sexes Trivia." We made it there, what we thought was early. We had 2 barstool seats, but as folks were leaving, we were able to nab 2 of the cushy seats. Some of our cruise critic folks were there and planted when we arrived. I wonder how long they sat there to land the center seats?
So 3 P.M. arrived and the games began. I kinda thought some of the questions were repeats, but some of the loud folks let Nick know and he made jokes and moved on. He stated that someone had stolen his trivia sheets. The trivia games were fun and entertaining.
Around 4, we headed over to the Music Hall, to try our hands at Bingo. I was shocked to find that Bingo was $37 for 3 games. You also had to purchase the dauber. On my next cruise, the dauber will be part of my luggage. I think the last time I played Bingo on a cruise, it was like $5. That was a bust, we didn't win anything. I think Hope may have won a $1 pull tab game.
The Northstar was closed due to the high winds, so we headed over to the bumper cars. The line was very long, but moved really fast.
After all of this excitement, Hope and I headed up to grab some dinner, before our show.
Dinner, is nice as this is just about the only time our group sees each other. It's also nice to sit and chit-chat to find out how everyone's cruise is going.
Erma, Gigi, Hope and I headed up to the Royal Theatre to see if we could nab some good seats for the show, "The Gift."
We kinda wanted to sit on the front row of the balcony, but had to wait 5 minutes. Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Members get first dibs on center seating. After the 5 minutes were up, we headed down to take our seats. The show was entertaining, but you all know me. 7:30 P.M. and my eyes get pretty heavy. They were so heavy, I just couldn't keep them open. I could hear, but definitely not see. I did awake near the end, to take a few photos, as the cast took their bows during the applause.
The ladies sat talking for a bit and I secretly retreated to my cabin.
The weather was a bit chilly tonight, so no open balcony door tonight.
