so from surfcamp we travelled down to sydney. it look 13 long hours and involved breaking down on a motorway and eating a crocodile pie.
once we got into sydney, we were plagued by the traffic and had to wait forever to get to the hostel.
an early night wasnt an option as we headed off into king cross, a colourful part of sydney to have our last meal as the oz bus. (sob)
the next day i was the biggest tourist, hitting the opera house, the rocks, the bridge and the art museum. i also saw some interesting street acts on circular quay.
i continued my touristy ways the next day by doing darling harbour, the powerhouse museum and the aquarium. it was pretty fun seeing all the neat stuff in the powerhouse museum as they had abig colection. they also had a star wars exhibition on and there were storm troopers wondering all over the place.
after that i tagged along to a free tour of the city a hostel was giving and saw what id already seen including hyde park (not as good as ours) the botanical gardens (which was full of bats) and the lucky hog at the hospital where you rub its nose for luck.
yesterday i decided it was my time for a spot of skydiving, so with my wallet 400$ lighter i hit the skys. it was pretty epic, just the feeling off falling at 220km/h through the sky.
about half way through, your face feels all cold and tingly too =p
today i think im going to take it east and go to manly beach.. because i can.
