Things are moving right along now. This week is the first real week of classes. Last week was really just orientation. I still don't have internet connected at my apartment yet, so I'm using the internet at school now. I'm going to have to call the phone company to see what the holdup is on my starter pack. I can still update my blog in the meantime; just no pictures. My next class is about to start, so I have a few minutes time to write in the computer lab. I finally found a bike helmet that I liked, so I rode my bike for the first time today. I think it's been close to 10 years since I actually rode a bicycle. (Don't worry. I didn't forget how. It was just a bit wobbly) The journey to school is up-hill, so I got a bit of a workout. My classmates have been very nice so far. I think I am the youngest person in class. It is a very diverse group of people, both in terms of nationality and experience. There are a few people with a great deal of professional experience and a few who are only beginning. I guess I'm somewhere in the middle. I have made friends with two guys from Taiwan and a gal from Melbourne. Last week, we took a ferry to Manly Beach. It was a very beautiful area, and it's nice riding the boat along the coast. I'm going to try to make it to Bondi Beach soon. I cooked my kangaroo steaks this weekend. I was a little leery about it at first, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. It was tender, and the seasoning was a great complement for the steak. I had it for two nights, and I enjoyed it equally both times. It's starting to get dark outside. They weren't kidding when they said it got creepy around campus once the sun went down. I have class in 10 minutes, so I need to wrap it up.
