Okay, so I haven't done any serious shopping. I talked to Justin that I met the other day and he told me that Metrotown in Burnaby, a mall located in a Vancouver suburb, is the place to go. And as usual SkyTrain is the way to get there. I have never seen such a huge mall in my entire life! I might have managed to go trough one third of it. I found some unique clothes you can't find in Sweden, but the fact that I have two thirds left is a sign that I have to go back to Vancouver one day!
Now that I had shopped til' I dropped and I can tick that of my list, I felt like I had to go somewhere just to be able to say that I didn't just spend my entire trip in Vancouver and Whistler. So I went to Richmond, twenty minutes away by SkyTrain, to check out the Olympic arena that was built for the 2010 winter Olympics. Fun fact: Canada line, that I was riding, was built to enable the Olympic games. And the British Columbia Rapid Transit Company (BCRTC) serves about 250000 passengers per weekday and has an on-time "service delivery performance rating" of 95.46 per cent, at least that's what one of the SkyTrain employees told me. I think that's pretty cool - what if SJ in Sweden was that punctual! ;)
