Unbelievably he made it through the night and last night (Fri) but nature is cruel and despite our best efforts he passed away at approx 08.30 today. A short service will be held for him at 21.00 tonight. No flowers please. Can anyone suggest an accompanying sauce?
The boys should be in Bejing - they could have shown those canoodlers how to do it. Up the Brits.

Well!! Did or didn't he???
Bit soppy at the end Dad C.
Apparently it's a 28k canoe trip. Got a brief text from Mike yesterday.
Mike's room is being used as store and Mum & Dads bedroom at the moment and i need all the remaining days to get ours ready so let's not wish the time away too quickly please.
Dad C
Well boys, Mum C is a little previous in that the little guy is still with us just, but unlikely to make it through the night.
Still, the world moves on (as they say) and so do you two: to Sarlat, if I'm not mistaken? We need news and pics. And don't go giving us snaps of water and the backside of a canoe. Your readers need to know that you were there!
Suggest you get Rongle (who started work at The Hay today) to start tidying your room Ashman, as it's going to take some time and it's only days before Mum C's little soldier and my big Lurkie get home!
Mum C
The little guy didn't make it! We are a HP family rather than Daddy's (too sexist) so meat and two veg it is. Oh, and by the way good to hear from you Ash today. Chef has the ordered covered. We are are looking forward to seeing you both although i guess you could do with another six months away from work. The real world beckons.
Dad E
Goes nice with some Daddy`s sauce, new potatoes and some baby carrots.

Question of the week: What do you do when you find a baby squirrel, which has obviously fallen out of its drey? Its really cute, no bigger than the palm of my hand with its eyes still shut. Some schools of thought advise bringing it into the warm in a box and others advise leaving it for the mother to find. A conundrum.
Dad E
Hope the relocation went ok. Remember to keep off the LEFF or make sure you drink it when not in control of the bikes. Raining here again.
Ash
No pics were from another night, St Tropez and Biarritz are from my camara and yes j and k reckon thats what swanny does for his hols!
Dad E
J&K - Not having seen the pics before reading your message i was under the opinion that you had completely lost the plot and were using Phoebe speak but it all became crystal clear. Oviously ditched the Hants CC membership in favour of the boat.
Was the set of pics in Biaritz taken on Ash's b.day?? If so i can understand the hangover comments.
Any thoughts on the Saints - Cardiff result??
Good pics though. Like the night shots of the sun going down. Assume thats correct as i cannot see you getting up early enough to see it rise??

Hi Guys, great blog and fab photos. St Tropez Mikey, how could you be so cruel and send photos back same time as we were there 12 months ago!!!!! Looks like the same people in the square! And fancy the Fat Man having a boat tied up in the harbour, must be money in a corner shop after all......
Stay safe boys, J & K xxx

Blimey i'm knackered. Got through it though. Good read.
Any comments Emma re the lack of people ie Mike and Ash. Where was the bakery? Did we go there?
I've printed of the blog so that it can be passed onto Grandad, Uncle Ed, Auntie Beryl and Auntie Roma (Cheltenham).
Good to hear all is ok and alcohol is still uppermost on your list of things to try. Played any cricket yet?????
